Yes, I look on fandango last June and again yesterday, the screens were not showing movies. This is a recliner complex, it a possibility AMC gave back space

Do you have any information on why Screens 6, 7, 10, and 11 are closed at this time?

You really shouldn’t rely on showtimes from any source other than the theatre’s own website. Newspapers and other free sources have a knack for being inaccurate with showtimes.

Showtimes available online even though theater still not listed on the Miami Herald’s movie times page.

It is open, but they are currently renovating the theater, and right now they only have four theaters open.

AMC has purchased this complex and it will now be known as the AMC Tamiami 18.

I attended a screening of Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” here. I love that this theater is still running 35mm film, as it is of a much higher picture and color quality than digital cinema. It’s sad that Hollywood is phasing out film and forcing cinemas to downgrade to an inferior format.

Now for the bad: the theater is understaffed and is in need of repairs, especially in the lobby and restrooms. Also, there are no refills on popcorn and soda, not even if you pay!

Here’s the bottom line: if you only care about the movie itself and want to save some money, go here. Otherwise, spend your money at Cobb or AMC.

Saw an Argentine film called ‘Bar El Tango’ at the Miami Latin Film Fest.
With it played an uproarious short film entitled ‘Profilaxis’ aka
‘Prophylaxis’.
