The Westport Drive-In was located just east of Fall River, MA on US Route 6 in Westport, MA. It was opened on May 10, 1951 with Richard Widmark in “Halls of Montezuma” & Dan Dailey in “Ticket to Tomahawk”. It was operated by N. Yamins & Daytz Theatre Enterprises Corp. They were still the operators in 1970. It was closed on September 4, 1984 with Lance Guest in “The Last Starfighter” & Molly Ringwald in “Sixteen Candles”.

Actually, you’re wrong. The Westport actually closed on September 4, 1984 with “The Last Starfighter” and “Sixteen Candles”.
