The Blair Theatre was opened on December 23, 1937. It was still open in 1957. By 2018 it was in use as a travel agency. The front of the building has been replaced.

The Blair Theatre was scheduled to open on December 23, 1937, according to the December 25 issue of Boxoffice Magazine that year. It was designed for the Silverman brothers by Pittsburgh architect Victor A. Rigaumont.

Does anyone remember the name of a pipe organ company located in Hollidaysburg Pa. I’m going back many years.

beachy: Some directories list a Cannarsa Organs, Inc. as having been located in Hollidaysburg. The company now appears to be located in Duncansville.
Blair Theatre building was last used as Classic Travel agency in 2018. Concrete handicapped ramp added to the front.
The Silverman Brothers retired in 1957 and the Blair Theatre was taken over by Altoona exhibitor Saul Perilman, according to an item in Boxoffice of August 31 that year.
