Moonlite Drive-In

This popular drive-in was built in 1949 and today is owned and operated by the founder’s son. The drive-in had room for 200 cars and was open on Friday and Saturday nights from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It was closed by October 2012.

The owner in 1963 was Ova Cornett. Capacity at that time was 150 cars.

Seems like such a lonely and cold Drive-in.I favored it for all the small town Drive-ins.Hope it is still open.

A closer address is Kentucky 11 & State Highway 1938, Beattyville, Kentucky 41311. The drive-in is just south of the intersection.
