Cinema World I, II, III IV

Cinema World I, II, III, IV was adjacent to the Century III Mall in Pleasant Hills (outside Pittsburgh) along Route 51 South. It was opened on July 6, 1973. It was closed by Cinemette Corporation of America in April 1987, and torn down in the late-1980’s to make room for a Toys R Us store.

I know there are photos of the CW at the Carengie library in Oakland.

Each of the Cinema World auditoriums had 304 seats.

The last film I saw here was “Pretty in Pink” in 1986! But for some reason, all I can remember is the outside of the building. I cannot remember ANY of the inside. I would love to see photos!
