Located at Greenaway Plaza, the 5,600-seat Edwards Grand Palace Stadium 24 Cinemas was opened on October 21, 1999. In 2025 renovations were being carried out and an IMAX screen opens on December 18, 2025 with “Avatar Fire and Water”.

This theater complex has (or had) 5-perf 70mm. I don’t see it noted on ridethectrain’s 12/24/24 comment which highlighted the formats and seat count of each auditorium in the complex. (They ran 70s of “The Hateful Eight” and Dunkirk.”) Is this capability still present?
yes the numbers are accurate, don’t k know which house has 70MM.

What grand opening, this theater wasn’t closed just renovating, 5 screens still not upgraded yet and the imax theater not until the end of the year @rivest256
please update quote, this theatre was not closed just major renovations I live in Houston and go there alot. As of today, 5 screens were not upgraded foe recliners and the IMAX screen doesn’t open until the end of the year

According to management Imax Laser opening in theatre 23 in November. The remaining 5 screens won’t get upgraded to recliners, due to going over budget. It happened in the future. All other renovations completed
Update, IMAX theatre opened today, November 21, 2025 with Wicked For Good, Regal just added the showtimes today
Please update, total seats 2897 and the Theatre 24 New Imax Theatre opens on November 21, 2025 with Wicked For Good, pre sales on sale. The auditorium lost 50 recliner seats once the conversion was finish.
