The Venus theatre opened on March 8th, 1950. Grand opening ad posted.

Here is the Venus in August of 1997. It was in Denver Harbor on Lyons, just off Market Street.

Other OK theaters in the early sixties were the Avalon, Grand, Al Ray and Hi-Nabor Drive-In in Houston and the Galena Theater in Galena Park, TX.
