The Avalon Theater was in downtown Clarksville on Highway 82 (Main Street). It was opened in late-1938. It was still open in 1957. It had closed by 1987. It has since been demolished and a memorial garden named Pride’s Corner is on the site of the former theatre.

The October 15, 1938 issue of Boxoffice features a two page article about the new Avalon Theatre in Clarksville.
The Avalon Theatre was at the southwest corner of Main Street and Locust Street, on the south side of the town square. Sadly, it has been demolished.
