Located along Route 1 in southern Fairfax County, Virginia, the Beacon Mall 4 opened in 1974. In its later years the theater operated as a discount theater showing second run films. The theater closed in 1996, shortly before the demolition of the enclosed mall in 1997, which made way for a new outdoor strip mall.

This theatre was operated by the Circle/Showcase chain and was NOT included in the sale to Cineplex Odeon in 1988. Circle Management continued to operate the theatre until its closing.
