The Ringo Theatre opened on Nashville Street in 1939 with Roy Rogers in "Mexicali Rose". In the mid-1950’s it was taken over by a new operator and it was briefly renamed New Ringo Theatre. It was closed December 15, 1956. It was taken over by a previous owner and reopened April 6, 1957 as the Ringo Theatre.

A Mexican restaurant was located in the building that formerly was the Ringo Theatre, until it was destroyed by a tornado on April 28, 2011.
