Opened in 1999, the Beach Theater was closed by the independent Marcos Movies chain in the summer of 2010. It was reopened in 2011.

The theater reopened in 2011 after a seven-month closure. Digital projectors were installed in September, 2012. View article

Another cinema on the site or nearby called Jerry Lewis opened on June 4th, 1971. It was renamed Beach Cinema in 1972.
