- May 26, 2012 — Art Van Furniture buys former movie theater near Toledo
Super Cinemas Toledo opened September 23, 1988 with four screens. Six more screens were added on June 30, 1990. Super Cinemas Toledo closed in April of 2008. At the time of closing it was operated by National Amusements. The empty building was still there in May 2012 and it had been demolished by summer of 2018.

Well, Tom Morman was the manager here until he was moved to manage the six-screen Franklin cinemas on Monroe st.
