When this theatre opened it was part of the Krikorian Theatres chain and was later picked up by Edwards Theatres.
The theater is still sittiing there, vacant. Saw Aladdin there. Was a pretty nice place.
The Upland Cinema 8 opened on December 23rd, 1987 by Krikorian Theatres and closed in 2000 by Edwards Theatres.
Went here frequently 1988-91, always on Tuesday bargain nights. Saw DO THE RIGHT THING, HARDWARE, NARROW MARGIN, WILD AT HEART, among many others.
