The Beach Cinemas opened June 11, 1999. It was operated by Alliance Atlantis Cinemas. It was taken over by Cineplex in 2019.

Previously the “Stands and Administration Building” for the “Greenwood Race Track” were on this piece of land.

Acquired by Cineplex in 2019, and is now known as The Beach Cinemas.
