- Feb 27, 2009 — RealD Projectors Debut at Six Dickinson's on Friday
The Gateway 12 + IMAX Theatre opened October 5, 2007. It has 12-screens, one of which is equipped for 3D Digital. It also contains an IMAX Theatre. It was taken over by AMC in 2017.

This theatre was DIckinson’s first IMAX theatre, one of five that are scheduled to be constructed.

The Gateway 12 in Mesa was designed by TK Architects. There is a slidshow with several photos here at the web site of Luke Draily Construction Co., the contractors.
