Located in the south London district of Balham. This early cinema was located in former shop premises, and was operating from at least March 1909, as given in police records. To-date, there has been no record found of an actual ‘name’ for the cinema. It had a short life, as it closed possibly due to the new Cinematograph Act which was introduced by Parliament in 1910.
In 2009, the building still stands and is in use as a money exchange shop.
