AMC High Point 8

Owned and operated by Carmike, this was showing first-run features when it opened July 9, 1992. It later fell to the megaplexes and became a second-run discount theatre.

It was the only discount movie theatre in High Point. Taken over by AMC, it went over to first-run movies in April 2019.

Per AMC’s site, the “Classic” branding has been removed and this is now a first-run multiplex.
