The Strand Theater opened in the early-1900’s in Dickinson. Originally located at the NW corner of Sims and Villard. It was relocated to 44 First Street West and reopened on April 4, 1923 with House Peters in “The Storm”. Bought in 1936 by the Dickinson Theater Company. Closed on August 29, 1937.

The building burned in 1946 or 1947.

The Strand theatre opened on April 2nd, 1923. Grand opening ad posted.
