Cines Renoir Retiro

A beautiful building with an imposing front on Calle Narvaez in the Retiro area of Madrid. The Cine Narvaez was opened on 25th March 1944 with Charles Boyer & Margaret Sullavan in “Appointment for Love”. Seating was provided in orchestra & balcony levels with 418 seats in the orchestra level (balcony seating capacity unknown).

In 1992 it was divided into 4 screens and re-named Cines Renoir Retiro. Shows original version movies with Spanish subtitles. The 4 auditoriums are small but very comfortable.
