This drive-in was opened June 24, 1964 with Patrick McGoohan in Walt Disney’s “The Three Lives of Thomasina” starring Patrick McGoohan & “The Eyes of Annie Jones” starring Richard Conte. It operated into the late-1980’s, and was owned by Theatre Management Corp. It had place advertisements in the Montreal newspapers in English and in French with a Montreal phone #.
Drive-ins in the Plattsburgh and Champlain area were very popular to the people north of the border since drive-ins were banned in Quebec 1947-1970. There is a French song by Chantal Renaud called Plattsburgh Drive-In Blues, which can be found on youtube.
