Located on Cinema Drive, just off Market Street, near the intersection of S. Kerr Avenue. Opened May 5, 1997 as the Carmike Cinema 12. Four more screens were added on for its grand re-opening December 25, 1999 as the Carmike Cinema 16, with full stadium seating and digital projection in all auditoriums. It was closed by AMC on October 16, 2023.

This opened on May 5th, 1997 with 12 cinemas. four more screens added on December 25th, 1999. Grand opening ad uploaded.
Now AMC Classic Wilmington 16.
And once again the a holes at AMC close another Carmike location. Why they bought the in the first place is ridiculous. If they went under it would be a good thing.
