- Dec 31, 2009 — New Plaza Cinema Cafe under new management already
The Plaza Cinema Café is located in downtown Orlando and opened in May 29, 2009. It was taken over by new management in December 2009 and as well as screening first run movies in its state of art auditoriums which have leather stadium seating, it has two fully licenced café wine bars and and two art galleries. It was taken over by CMX Cinemas in October 2017.

The Plaza Cinema Café is now under the management of Cobb Theaters: View link
The Plaza Cinema Cafe was designed by the Atlanta architectural firm DVA Architects, which has since been taken over by the Dallas firm 5G Studio Collaborative. It is one of several cinema projects for which photos are available in the “Entertainment” section of 5G’s web site at this link.
This opened on May 29th, 2009. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
