Thanks Bob.Tlsloews in Nashville mentioned one time he thought they moved their home office to Nashville.I know CARMIKE is out of Columbus,I often wondered if Martin became CARMIKE.Georgia, especially small towns seem to have a Martin owned Theatre.
The Edgewood Drive-In was open at least through the 1960s and maybe slightly into the 1970s, a year or two. The last movie I remember seeing there was “Bonnie And Clyde”, though. It was an auto repair shop through the 1980s-90s, but that too is now gone, and the place is deserted.

The above address will map accurately to the location of the drive-in, which is visible on Google Earth using present day imagery.
Approx. address for this drive-in was 4231 Macon Rd. The west exit to the shopping center in front of the drive-in was the entrance. Giddens was the exit to the theatre. Part of the outline is still there.
As of today, there are a lot of things built on this property, but the current Google aerial shows about 5 rows of trees on the back left side which show where the ramps were, for how much longer, who knows?
This opened on October 2nd, 1952 and closed in 1978. Ad in photo section.
