Skyview Drive-In

Located on Highway 19 in North Georgia, the Skyview Drive-In was owned by John Thompson and was opened prior to 1955. The Skyview Drive-In parked 406 cars making it one of the larger drive-ins outside Atlanta. It was still open in 1982, but possibly closed in the mid-1980’s.

I like the way you are putting all the drive-ins on CT. I do remember seeing a drivein in Jenkinsberg years ago. I do not remember what its name was but it was very small.

Now condos. Approx. address for this drive-in was 1780 Atlanta Road.

According to this article the drive-in on Atlanta Hwy was called the Skyview Drive-In.

Still open in 1982, but appears that it may’ve closed later in the decade.
