Cinema Drive-In

The Cinema Drive-In located in Hazard, Kentucky was owned by Virginia Amusement Company located in Hazard, Kentucky, which makes a lot of sense, Anyway the Cinema Drive-In parked 400 cars. I would love to have seen opening night of "Thunder Road" there. Bet they turned them away by the hundreds.

It’s very close to Virginia.

Open ~1955-~1975 approximate? Anyone care to verify the exact dates?

This was at Combs Road at Combs Lane. An shopping plaza and McDonald’s now stands on its site.

Approx. address for this drive-in was 1442 Combs Rd. Pizza Hut is where the screen was.

1442 Combs Rd does not map to the correct location.

1442 Combs Lane will map correctly. Combs Rd at Combs Lane will also map correctly.
