A drive-in built by the Savar chain in the late-1940’s, a few miles outside Camden on what was then State Route 40, in lightly developed Delaware Township. The road was re-numbered as Route 70 in 1953; a decade later, the rapidly growing suburb would rename itself Cherry Hill. The drive-in lasted until 1970 or so.
A hotel was built on the site some years later; originally a Hyatt, it currently operates as a Crowne Plaza.
