The Carmike Cinema 7 was opened on December 16, 1988. It was taken over by Cinema Entertainment Corporation on June 15, 1989 and renamed Century 7 on October 12, 1989. It was expanded to 10-screens on October 13, 2000 and renamed Century 10 which included an Iwerks Extreme Screen, which converted into a regular screen in 2003.

In 2007 Marcus Theatres took over operations of this theatre. The theatre features stadium seating, in the 2010’s the former Iwerks Extreme Screen became an Ultra Screen and is set up for 3D projections. The theatre features first run attractions.

This is one of three operating theatres left in Fargo.

AKA:

CENTURY 10

In the October 2000 expansion to 10 screens, Cinema Entertainment Corporation made one of the screens an IWERKS' ESTREME SCREEN, which is a large format cinema. As far as I can tell Marcus has no large format screen at the theater.

I think it’s interesting that Marcus Theaters sells White Castle Hamburgers.

More info and photos are always welcome.

A decent theater. Been there a couple of times. Good for the college crowd. I like it because while a multiplex, it’s still kind of small and intimate, and a reminder of what more theaters were like in the 90’s.
