The Carmike Cinema 7, initially constructed by Midco Theatres, opened on December 16, 1988. Cinema Entertainment Corporation took over on June 15, 1989, renaming it the Century 7 on October 12, 1989. On October 13, 2000, the theatre expanded to 10 screens, including an Iwerks Extreme screen, which was converted to a regular screen in 2003 and later to an Ultrascreen in the 2010s. This theatre now has DreamLounger reclining leather seats in all auditoriums.
A decent theater. Been there a couple of times. Good for the college crowd. I like it because while a multiplex, it’s still kind of small and intimate, and a reminder of what more theaters were like in the 90’s.
There is a picture of the exterior on this webpage: View link If you click on it, a picture of the lobby will appear.

CENTURY 10
In the October 2000 expansion to 10 screens, Cinema Entertainment Corporation made one of the screens an IWERKS' ESTREME SCREEN, which is a large format cinema. As far as I can tell Marcus has no large format screen at the theater.
I think it’s interesting that Marcus Theaters sells White Castle Hamburgers.
More info and photos are always welcome.
