The Apple Tree opened as a quad May 25, 1983 and by the late-1990’s it was a 8 screen. By the early-2000’s it was a 10 plex. It was operated by O'neil Cinemas. Seating is listed at 2,650. It was taken over by Carmike Cinemas on September 26, 2014.

May 25th, 1983 uploaded up with a huge new movie.
It was definitely not a 12 screen in the early 2000s. Worked here in 2004/2005, and although it was CALLED the Appletree 12, there were only 10 screens. They always had plans to add more, and changed the name before building the auditoriums. Whether it has 12 now, I couldn’t tell you, as I haven’t been by in years, although I’m very glad to see it’s no longer an O'Neil Cinema.
