Last operated by Cineplex Entertainment. As of 2026, it was still abandoned, even the theater chain’s logo was still visible but mirrored.

First known as the Capitol Theatre, named after the older Capitol.

Antigonish, even with a university population, is just way too small to sustain a theatre now. Heading to New Glasgow makes more sense.
