The Tower Drive-In was located on US 64 Business East (North Raleigh Street) at Meadowbrook Road in eastern Rocky Mount. It was opened on August 10, 1949 with Alan Ladd in “Wild Harvest”. It was operated by North Carolina Theatres (Wibey-Kincey). It had a capacity for 526 cars and a seating area with 100-seats. African-American patrons had their own entrance & exit on Meadowbrook Road, and they also had their own restroom and refreshment facilities. It was demolished by 2003.

I have it parking 528 cars.and in 1956 a N.C. Theatre.
Approx. address for this drive-in was 1761 North Raleigh Street. Though very overgrown, most ramps are still there.
There are some pictures of this theater’s screen on this drive-in’s gallery page at Drive-ins.com.
