The three-screen Edwards Mission Viejo Mall opened at a location inside the mall on October 26, 1979. It was Edwards’ second Mission Viejo location, giving the growing chain 14 Orange County locations in all. It dropped out of Edwards’ newspaper listings after June 11, 1998. Because of later mall renovations there is now no indication that there ever was a theater there.

Small multiplex theater in the Mission Viejo Mall. Saw the first Austin Powers movie here in 1996.
