Originally opened by Nickelodeon Theatres as the Nickelodeon Mission Marketplace 8 November 8, 1991. It was expanded as a 10-screen theatre by Ultrastar Cinemas. On July 3, 1997 it was expanded to 13-screens. It was taken over by Digiplex Destinations in December 2012. By early-2017 it was operated by Carmike Cinemas. Taken over by AMC Theatres in 2017, it was closed January 15, 2018.
In April 2019 it was announced that Regal Entertainment Group have taken over the building. It reopened on November 22, 2019 as Regal Mission Marketplace & RPX.

Digiplex Destinations acquired the Ultra Star Mission Marketplace Cinemas in December, 2012.
That will make Regal the seventh operator. Theatre was operated by, I believe in this order:

It opened and an 8 plex and then expanded tona 13.
