This opened in the late 1990’s by the Geroge Kerasotes Company, which was taken over by Carmike Cinemas in 2005.
Now the AMC Classic Morris 10.
Final day rumored to be September 28, 2025. The City Council has already approved the facility’s conversion to a house of worship.

The GKC Orpheum Cinemas opened on November 15th, 1996 with “Space Jam” and other movies.
Its opening caused the closure of the downtown GKC Morris Theatre. The Morris’s final attractions, “Larger Than Life” and “Ransom”, were moved to the GKC Orpheum following the closure of the GKC Morris.
