The 726-seat Spruceland Theatre, located at the Spruceland Shopping Centre in Prince George, was opened by Famous Players on February 26, 1969. It closed September 30, 1992 and was later renovated for retail. A Sport Mart sporting goods store now occupies the former theatre space.

This was a great 1-screen theater. I remember seeing ‘Star Trek VI’ and ‘Lethal Weapon 4’ at this theater before its closing. What a shame. Another classic theater gone.
