The six-screen Clearbrook Cinemas were opened by Cineplex Odeon on June 10 1988 and run until Cineplex closed it on February 22, 2001. Landmark Cinemas took over the lease and reopened it in June 2001 as the Grand 6 Theatres, which ran until its closure in 2010.

After zooming in for a closeup with Google Street View, it appears that the former Clearbrook Cinemas/Grand 6 building is now home to a fitness gym.
Did Cineplex’s bankruptcy in 2001 have anything to do with the closure? Also, any pics of the cinema when it was part of Cineplex?
