The six-screen Clearbrook Cinemas were opened by Cineplex Odeon in 1988 and run until Cineplex closed it in 2001. Landmark Cinemas took over the lease and reopened it in 2002 as the Grand 6 Theatres, which ran until its closure in 2010.

After zooming in for a closeup with Google Street View, it appears that the former Clearbrook Cinemas/Grand 6 building is now home to a fitness gym.
Did Cineplex’s bankruptcy in 2001 have anything to do with the closure? Also, any pics of the cinema when it was part of Cineplex?
