Once operated by Cineplex, and later Cineplex Odeon when both Cineplex and Canadian Odeon merged in July 1984, and the Cineplex Odeon identity was introduced the following year in 1985. It was closed by Cineplex Odeon on February 26, 1995.

Closed on February 26, 1995 with “Star Trek Generations” in Screen 1 and “Disclosure” in Screen 2.

This became the Jasper cinema centre red and blue on August 23rd, 1974. Grand opening ad posted.

Actually, this theater ‘The Jasper Place Cinema’ opened December 1st, 1953. The first movie shown was Tea For Two with Doris Day. The second theater was added sometime in the late sixties. Unfortunately, it was demolished yesterday June 25, 2016… very sad, this was a cozy little theater!
