Queens Hall Cinema

Located in Aspatria, Cumberland. The Queens Hall was screening films prior to 1911. It was soon replaced in that year by the Palace Cinema in Market Place. By 1929, it was operating as the Queens Hall Cinema by C.H. Over & Sons. At this time the Palace Cinema, also operated by C.H. Over & Sons, was closed and being extended and equipped for sound films, so the Queens Hall Cinema was probably used for the last time.
