Nearby Theaters
Named after the Oil Center district of the town. The Center Cinema was located at the corner of Auditorium Place and South College Road, across the street from the municipal auditorium. It was opened by Ogden Theatres on October 20, 1966 with Omar Sharif in “Doctor Zhivago”. It was equipped to screen both 35mm and 70mm films on its 50 feet wide screen.
On September 16, 1971 a second screen was added and on November 21, 1979 a third screen was added. It was later renamed Movies 4. It was closed in 1998.

This opened on October 20th, 1966 as the Center Cinema with only one screen showing roadshow movies.
