The Twin Drive-In was opened on February 12, 1953 with Betty Hutton in “Somebody Loves Me” playing on both screens. It was operated by H-T Theatres with a 950-car capacity. There was a 200-seat enclosed area for walk-in patrons. It was later operated by Gulf States Theatres. Now Camping World of Lafayette.
