The Fremont Drive-In was opened on July 21, 1949 with Glenn Ford in “Return of October”. The car capacity was listed at 460. The drive-in was operated by Central States Theatres. The Fremont Drive-In closed on July 4, 1988. The space that the drive-in sat on is now a tractor and tractor supply called Victor’s.

This opened on July 21st, 1949 and closed after the 1988 season. Grand opening ad below:
The Fremont Drive-In Theatre went out with a bang with July 4, 1988 showings of “Beetlejuice” and “Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach” with a fireworks display between the two shows. Attendance was dwindling due to the popularity of VHS home video and the operator decided to let the 40-year lease lapse.

A 1993 aerial shows the drive-in demolished. By 1999, the property appeared to be used for storage or perhaps an auto salvage yard.
Today, Titan Machinery sits on the property with no trace of the drive-in remaining, apart from its connection to the highway.
