The Hollywood 18 was opened by Hollywood Theatres in May of 1999. This ended the monopoly that Carmike held in Mobile. Later operated by Wallace Theatres, the Hollywood 18 became part of Regal Cinemas in 2013. The theatre features digital projection and sound, 3D capabilities, online ticketing, rocking chairs, and first run attractions. It had closed by October 2021. It was demolished on October 3, 2022.

Wallace did not own Hollywood Theatres in 1999. They were their own company that later Wallace purchased.
