Please fix in the description, This actually opened on November 4, 1988 by Mid-America, not October 23, 1986 by AMC. AMC took it over on March 3, 1989 for a very short time.
Please update, theatre opened on November 4, 1988 by Mid American, AMC Theatres took over on March 3, 1989, then Crown Theatres May 4, 1990 and Hollywood Theatres in 1997
Renovations are completed and AMC Theatres didn’t renumber the cinemas, theatres 1 and 9 are closed.

Why the name Indian Mound?
This opened on November 4th, 1988 with six screens by Mid-America theatres and taken over by AMC in 1989. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
Reopened now. Movies showing on only 4 screens at present and no mention of power recliners yet. Maybe still a work in progress.
