Originally a six-screen AMC Theatre, it opened around October 23, 1986, with the new Indian Mound Mall. From 1997-98, under the management of Hollywood Theaters, it was expanded to 11 screens. It was taken over by Regal Cinemas April 1, 2013 and they closed it in January 2016.
It has been taken over by AMC and reopened in April 2016 initially with four screens, with another five screens to open later.

Reopened now. Movies showing on only 4 screens at present and no mention of power recliners yet. Maybe still a work in progress.
This opened on November 4th, 1988 with six screens by Mid-America theatres and taken over by AMC in 1989. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
Why the name Indian Mound?
10 screens on November 28th, 1997 as one old screen is removed to create a passage to the new 8-screen extension. 11 screens in 1998. ad:
