This multiplex was a Gulf States Theatres facility. Saw “Mask” with Cher shortly after this place opened.
Our first movie was a re release of Snow White back in 1985 about 5 months after the theatre opened it was a nice theatre back in the 1980’s it across the freeway from Lake Forest Plaza near Read Blvd. It was one of the original three movie theatres that opened in New Orleans East.
The last time I saw a movie there was The Cable Guy in 1996 .
