Blue Bell Theatre

The Blue Bell Theatre opened in Northeast Baltimore in late-1909. It was remodeled in late-1912. The Blue Bell Theater was closed in 1925 and converted into a furniture store. It was purchased by the State Theatre Company in April 1926, but remained a furniture store. It was remodeled in the early-1940’s to the plans of architect David H. Harrison for the Rome Theatre Company, but it never reopened as a movie theatre. Last used as a church in the 1970’s, it was demolished in the 1980’s for housing.
