The County Seat Cinema 6 was opened by GCC on October 23, 1981 and they were the operators until Spring of 2002. It was briefly taken over by AMC Theatres. It was finally operated by Village Cinemas. It was closed on January 5, 2003. The site is now used for retail.

General Cinema operated the theater until Spring 2002. AMC briefly operated the theater until Village Cinemas took it over during its final months of operation.
