Opened by Theatre Operators on June 8, 1979 as the Campus Square 3. Ownership was followed by Excellence Theatres in the late-1980’s. Carmike Cinemas took over in the early-1990’s. The theatre was expanded to 8 screens on July 1, 1994. Carmike closed the theatre in 2008 due to competition from the Gallatin Cinemas. It now operates as a Brewpub.

The Campus Square Cinemas opened with three screens on June 8th, 1979, and enlarged on July 1st, 1994, to eight screens. Grand opening ads posted.
