The Star Drive-In opened on August 15, 1952 with Humphrey Bogart in “The African Queen”. Car capacity was listed at 300. The Star Drive-In was closed at the end of the 1975 season.

Found it. The drive-in was located south of the town at the intersection of HWY 91 and Blazen Road (100 Blazen Road on Google). The land appears to be private property, but you can still see the ramps clearly. https://goo.gl/maps/QAavx
Boxoffice, July 15, 1974: “Interstate Amusement, based in Twin Falls, Ida., and owned by Roy Roper, has leased the Roxy Theater and North Star Drive-In here (in Shelby MT), along with the State Theatre and Derrick Drive-In at Cut Bank, Mont., and the Orpheum Theatre and Star Drive-In at Conrad, Mont. … HMK Corp. constructed the area’s first drive-in about 1950 between Cut Bank and Shelby. It was closed in 1954, when the corporation built drive-ins in Shelby and Cut Bank. The ozoner at Conrad was purchased in 1956.”
Boxoffice, March 24, 1956: “Recent sale of the Star Drive-In, south of Conrad, to the Kluth interests was announced by former owner, Ray Yeager, Brady. Yeager built the drive-in in the summer of 1952 and has owned and operated it the past four years.”
