Located inside the mall, this opened as a twin screen theatre on May 24, 1976. It was closed on December 5, 1980.
A new 4-screen theatre opened outside the mall. The World newspaper reported in May of 2004 that Coming Attractions Theatres was expanding the Pony Theatres from 4 to 11 screens and increasing seating from 628 to 1,622. After many construction delays the theatre, designed by The Design Collective, opened in 2005.
Coming Attractions had purchased the Pony Village Cinema from Regal Entertainment in 1999. Luxury Theatres originally opened the theater in 1985 and then sold it to Act III Theatres in 1989.

This opened on November 24th, 1976 as a twin. 4 screens opening on December 5th, 1980 and 11 screens on May 26th, 2005. Grand opening ads posted.
The Pony Village Twin operated inside the mall and closed after business on 11/16/1980. The Pony 4 opened outside the mall and turned into the current complex that is Pony Village 11.
An article in the January 10, 1981 edition of The Coos Bay World reported that a retail clothing store was “slated for a location in half the theater space vacated when the new cinemas were built…” and that “The other half of the cinema space will feature what could be termed a ‘mini-mall’ - a concept where small businesses rent floor space in an open area and customers stroll through as they would in an arcade.”
